Ladies – its time to take a trip!
More and more women are thinking about leaving the better half at home and hitting the road with the female gender. When women travel together, they can really let their hair down. It’s fun, noncompetitive and stress-free – a bonding experience that all women look forward to.
They talk about it being a liberating experience because of the freedom to choose their own destination and activities without having to compromise with family members who might want to do something else.
The woman traveler phenomenon is my inspiration for starting WOW, besides I wanted to meet other women who share my passion for travel, and assist them to achieve their wish lists.
This blog is about like minded women, our aspirations, our lives and of course, our travels! Do continue to read, enjoy and share your travels and life experiences. I am sure that it will be a journey you will enjoy.
Really a fantastic and wonderful opportunity for the women like me who simply love travelling and explore new places.Hoping to be a part of your team in near future.

I am really looking forward to joining one of your trips. It is always fun to travel with same sex as our ideas and interests are more or less the same.I am tired of travelling with my husband who seems to lose interest and patience very soon.I would love to go river- rafting, try skiing, bungee jumping and all kinds of adventure trips. For we are here only once and I intend to make the most of what life has to offer.

I also would like to know whether you make arrangements for vegetarian, healthy low fat food in your trips. That would be an added advantage, then just surviving on breads, pastas, butter and cheese.

Hi ,
What a Great idea. Finally…someone thought about getting out and taking Women along!
I have been travelling all over the world for the last 20yrs.
Most of the times I’ve heard remarks like,’Wow..how gutsy..how can u travel alone?’ Or ‘Why do u wanna travel alone?’ What do get from that?’
The satisfaction and experience is indescribable..but Yes today unless one is really familiar with the destination it’s not advisable to get too adventurous.
My very first Destination outside India was Amsterdam when I was barely 20! I explored every bit of Holland after that ,making friends along the way.
Here’s a list of some interesting places I’ve traveled to without any hitch. Some of them were SOLO but others were with girlfriends or friends with whom I met up at various locations.
East Africa..driven thru the Serengeti accross Tanzania into Kenya.
Bali,Jakarta,Bandung and Surabaya in Indonesia.
Singapore and Bangkok.
SanFrancisco and Los Angeles
London and Paris
Frankfurt and Heidelburg
Mt Zermatt in Switzerland
While living outside India for 11yrs I continued my travels.
In India:
Shivpuri/Rishikesh
Jaipur/Jodhpur/Jaisalmer/Udaipur
and now I plan to visit Bhutan and if all goes well Cambodia.
I would love to join yr group sometime. I do wonder if Women of different age groups can last thru a trip though???
Cheers to all u Lovely Ladies and keep discovering and enjoying!
